The main problem with word games today is that most require you play against real people from around the world. You might find a word quickly and put it on the board and then spend hours or even days for your competitor to put down his or her word. This can drag out a simple game and take it longer to play than you ever expected. As Classic Words puts you up against players generated by a computer, you can get a game done much faster.
When the game starts, it assigns you a set of letters and asks you to create a word on the board. The droid that you play against will also receive a set of letters. That droid will use the letters to make a new word based on the letters you put down. You can then use the letters you have and any on the board to make a new word. As the game progresses, you'll find more letters become available. The game becomes challenging though because you need to find room on the board for your words.
The buttons on the bottom of the screen let you take back your letters if you change your mind and experiment with the letters. Once you decide to play a word, you can hit the play button and give the droid a chance to go. The bottom of the screen shows you the current scores that both you and the droid have to let you know who is in the lead.
Designed to help players improve their vocabulary, the game also includes a built-in dictionary. Each time that you or the droid plays a word, this dictionary will show you the meaning behind that word. You can pick from six different languages too. Certain tiles on the board award you more points than others, including one that doubles your word score. You'll also get a bonus for using all seven of your letters in one turn. The game also features six difficulty levels and lets you pick the right one based on your skill level. If you love playing word games but hate waiting around for other players to put down words and finish those games, you'll want to test your skills against the AI players in Classic Words.

We usually publish games that are at least 20 years old, but this time we made an exception. After so many requests, since the game is currently not available on GOG or Steam, we decided to make this gift for all the fans of GamesNostalgia. You can now play Halo, one of the best games ever created, the game made the Xbox a success.
The Windows version includes Patch 1.0.10; it supports modern video cards and all kind of screen resolutions. It works on Windows 7/10, and GameSpy support is removed (since it's not active anymore). Just run the setup and install the game. That's it.
But Mac owners will be happy too. The Mac version does not use emulators; it's the universal binary, perfectly working on Mac OSX Mojave. We also added the patch to update the game to version 2.0.4. Install the game, then install the patch and enter the serial. Alternatively, if the Universal Binary doesn't work for you, you can try HaloMD. It will allows to play Halo on your Mac in multiplayer mode, and install mods.
Time to become Master Chief and defeat the Covenants!
Note for Catalina users: MacOS Catalina removed support for 32bit apps. so Halo, like many other old games, won't work (nor the Universal or the HaloMD).
